I do seem to have found the 'perfect' t-shirt, which is a step in the right direction. It is to be found in Mr Tesco's emporium, and is FAIR-TRADE: so no naughty utilisation of 3rd-world child slave labour (we don't like that). It is also jolly cheap: around £4 I think? The cardigan thing is working for me - and the greatest selection is in the little eBay boutique: but don't get carried away: remember to set your limit and snipe (it is the safest way). Don't forget to pay attention to the length - some horrid people sneak in short - or EVEN cropped (Oh YES) - cardigans: not good for hiding any muffin-shaped lumps, and the wind gets into your knickers.... with lots of love and empathy Agony-aunt Dottymummy xxx PS Do tell all your lovely English mummy-friends, won't you?: spread the Dotty-word!! I suffer with the same wardrobe dilemma, and am also a recent convert to cardigans (despite one set back with a horrible thing that sheds even more than the cat!). Am still on the search for something that falls inbetween jeans-and-trainers and skirt-and-boots on the casual - to - smart scale.
