I have been deluged by the most encouraging comments recently, and these at a time when they could not have been more welcome or helpful.

I cannot thank you all enough: but the thanks I write do come from the bottom of my heart xxx

Thank you Marisa: it is a pleasure to know you too. My next post (I think!) will be about Twitter.
I do still use oil as a cleanser, but supplement it with a facial scrub once a week: I have a thing about dead skin! All I use is dampened porridge oats or demerara sugar with a little moisturiser. You would be welcome to Melrose and my home any day! xxx

Hi! I’ve been walking around your blog and catching up on all the reading. Am impressed! I was quite taken by the section that mentioned using oil as a cleanser. Do you still follow that regime?

Anyway, I’m not in the group that has given you encouraging comments, but wanted you to know that I’m glad I “met” you through Twitter, and that I enjoy reading and communicating with you through tweets.

Though it would be great to walk around the beautiful place you live and have a real chat!
